ECO thermoreactors are suitable for COD analysis and for sample preparation for a wide range of applications, as well as sample preparation in order to determine both metallic and non-metallic elements in organic and inorganic materials such as minerals, alloys, animal feeds, soils, sediments and organic tissues. COD Analysis Thermoreactor ECO 6 ensures a simple and easy programming of time and temperature, the parameters involved in the analysis. Through the digital display it is possibile to monitor the test at any time, with the countdown constantly shown. The unit automatically shuts down when the analysis time expires, whilst safety is of primary importance, as demonstrated by the several acoustic and visual signals that report unpleasant situations.
A typical COD analysis is usually long - usually takes 2 hours at 150°C
VELP ECO Series can perform COD analysis in only 30 minutes thanks to the higher temperature of 160°C
The ECO-series thermoreactors are also suitable for determining total organic carbon (TOC), total chromium, total nitrogen and total phosphate and ensure excellent accuracy and repeatability
